Seven of ScripType’s home communities appear in Cleveland Magazine’s 2024 Top 20 Suburbs

Richfield jumped to number three on the list, after ranking 18th in 2023. Editors credit Richfield’s “manageable property taxes” and “quick commute times” for the climb.

Brecksville held on to its ninth spot for a second year and won praise for its safety and education rankings.

Broadview Heights ranked just below its easterly neighbor, securing the 10th spot on the 2024 list and being lauded for its proximity to green space and a steady home price growth.

Hudson was number 14. Editors called out “the outdoorsy town” for its active residents and bountiful homes sales.

Ranked at 16, North Royalton “snuck back onto” the Top 20 list, the magazine said, with its impressive safety and education rankings.

Safety was also at the heart of Bath’s 17th spot, according to the magazine, which cheered the town’s “natural beauty” and “consistent home prices.”

Independence rounds out the top 20 and is cited for its affordable home prices and unique attractions, such as the Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad’s Rockside Station. ∞
