Formal wear is collected for less fortunate

Posted: January 6, 2017

Revere Schools, Revere Community C.A.R.E., Fussy Cleaners and the Richfield Police Department are partnering to collect donations for “Cinderella’s Closet,” a prom formal dress and accessory giveaway event, in March. Donations of new or gently used formal wear, shoes, jewelry as well as hair and make-up services are being sought to give to less-fortunate students in the area.

Donations may be dropped off at Revere High School, 3420 Everett Rd., the Richfield Police Department, 4450 W. Streetsboro Rd., or Fussy Cleaners Bath location, 1000 Ghent Rd. If businesses or individuals are unable to drop off their donation, arrangements can be made to pick it up.

Cash donations will be used for accessories. Checks should be made payable to “Revere Community C.A.R.E.” and mailed to P.O. Box 37, Richfield, 44286. Donations (cash or items) are now being taken and will be accepted up until March 3.
