Posted: June 30, 2017

Attend Music in the Valley Folk and Wine Festival at Hale Farm & Village July 8-9 and listen to local musicians and taste food and wine. Visitors can listen to musicians as they tour the grounds or catch a main stage performance between 12-6:30 p.m. daily. Wine from Ohio-based wineries will be available for sample and purchase, along with food from local trucks and vendors.

Regional music acts such as Mosbrook, Red Brick Rhoades and the Crooked River Stompers will perform under a tent in the Village Green. Casual jams will take place throughout the property. Guests can participate in wine-and-cheese-pairing seminars and tasting classes supported by The Wine Buzz.

The festival runs from 10 a.m.-7 p.m. both days. Admission is $10 for adults, $5 for children 3-12 and free for members. Guests are encouraged to bring blankets and chairs.

All regular museum exhibits and demonstrations are open to the public during the festival until 5 p.m. Hale Farm showcases 90 acres of historic structures, farm animals, gardens and early American craft and trade demonstrations, including glassblowing, blacksmithing, broom-making and weaving.
