Dec. 7: Salvation Army bell ringing at Montrose Acme

Posted: November 30, 2017

The Bath Volunteers for Service will sponsor a Salvation Army bell-ringing event on Thursday, Dec. 7, from 10 a.m.-9 p.m., at the Montrose Road Acme No. 15. BVS members will collect cash, checks and change for Salvation Army programs and projects in Summit County. Donations will help the local Salvation Army provide nutritious meals, shelter homeless families, help people overcome addictions and provide after-school tutoring and recreation.

Local music teacher and BVS member Emily Rode will direct her music students throughout the day as they play favorite songs and Christmas selections.

In 2016, BVS was recognized for collecting the most money in one day in Summit County for the 2016 Red Kettle Collection.
