April 28: Spring Fever Tour

The Richfield Historical Society will sponsor a Spring Fever Tour (formerly Cabin Fever Tour) on Saturday, April 28.

Participants will travel along a stretch of Route 303 through the rolling hills of Hinckley, Richfield and Peninsula seeking examples of local history, art, antiques, floral arrangements, gardening, handcrafted items and jewelry, as well as food and treats. A map listing tour participants’ locations and hours can be picked up at the Historical Museum, 3907 Broadview Rd., from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. that day.

The following Richfield businesses will be open for the tour: Country Maid Ice Cream, 12-8 p.m.; Countryside Florist, 9 a.m.-4 p.m.; Farnam Manor, 1-4 p.m.; P.O.C.’s Pierogi Market, 10 a.m.-6 p.m.; Polka Dot Pincushion, 10 a.m.-4 p.m.; Richfield Library, 11a.m.-1 p.m.; Richfield Heritage Preserve and Somerville Antiques & Folk Art, 10 a.m.-5 p.m.
