Taste of Broadview Heights raises over $10,000 for community
Despite frigid temperatures, over 350 community members attended the annual Taste of Broadview Heights, sponsored by the Broadview Heights Community Foundation, on Jan. 30 at St. Sava Church. The event raised over $10,000 to benefit the Broadview Heights community.
Seventeen local restaurants and caterers showcased their culinary talents: Cozumel, Creekside Restaurant, The Boneyard, Farmer Brother’s Coffee, Wild Eagle Steak & Saloon, Salted Dough, Macaron Tea Room, Tavern of Independence, Nothing Bundt Cakes, Danny Boys, Kavana Social Kitchen, Giant Eagle Supermarket, Marge Walters Catering, St. Sava Church and Catering, Jersey Mike’s, Tom & Chee and Stancato’s Restaurant. Bill Nichols, Sam Rosselot and Andrew Karkosiak provided musical entertainment.
Money raised will be used to support events in the city and the construction of a pavilion at Broadview Center. Over the years, the foundation has donated over $45,000 to benefit Broadview Heights residents. For more information, visit bvhcommunityfoundation.org.
