Cub Scout pack completes construction project
Richfield Cub Scout Pack 3387 undertook a community service project this year at the Richfield Heritage Preserve: Build a latrine near the Gemini Cabin, using an existing foundation.
The boys were taught how to build the structure from the ground up. They took pride in building the structure, because it was something they have not experienced before, and it gave them a sense of accomplishment. A sign was made to drop from the overhang that includes all of their signatures and those of others who assisted in the project.
