Meet the Twinsburg Township Fiscal Officer candidate
One candidate is running for election as fiscal officer. Following are questions posed to her by the Twinsburg Tribune. Responses were limited to 100 words.
1. What do you think has been the trustees’ biggest accomplishment in your current term?
Balogh: Increase home values in the township by improving the neighborhood roads. The most recent results are found in the Marwell Estates road project. New roads have attracted 11 new homes. Average selling price was $396,000. This revitalizes the neighborhood while it raises the value of existing homes. All completed without a bond issue to fund such capital improvements.
2. In your view, what is the biggest challenge facing the township?
Balogh: Securing grant funding as we leverage our financial strength to obtain matching funds to complete The Heights neighborhood road project and address additional neighborhood street reconstruction.
