Children services agency seeks donations

Summit County Children Services is seeking monetary donations to support children receiving SCCS services. With a new school year, the agency wants to ensure that children will have the necessary supplies to help them achieve academic success.

In 2022, SCCS provided services to one out of every 12 children in Summit County and currently has over 900 children in agency custody. With the support of the community, SCCS can provide those items needed for the classroom. Monetary donations aid caretakers by reducing the financial burden of school preparedness.

For more information about how to donate to the SCCS back-to-school program, visit summitkids.org under the “community action” tab or mail checks to Summit County Children Services, 264 S. Arlington St., Akron, Ohio 44306. ∞
