INDYAlive! offers high school scholarships

Students who are residents of Independence, regardless of school attended, are eligible to earn a $500 scholarship from INDYAlive!, a nonprofit organization that provides resources to youth and parents to help them make smart choices.

Any student who will complete the requirements for high school graduation by June 2024 and will attend a post-secondary or technical school is eligible to apply. Private or parochial school students can download the application at independenceohio.org/residents/25___alive/25___alive_scholarship.php or pick up a copy at Independence City Hall between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. Independence High School students can get more information from the school’s guidance office.

Applications will be accepted at city hall until March 29 at 3 p.m. ∞
