State garden club to convene locally

The Garden Club of Ohio will have its 96th Annual Convention at the Holiday Inn, 6001 Rockside Rd. in Independence, from April 16-18. Speakers, workshops, vendors, raffles and an Ohio Judges Council Standard Flower Show will be part of the entertainment. Visit gardenclubofohio.org to register and attend.    

On Wednesday, April 17, from 1-6 p.m. will be the Ohio Council of Nationally Accredited Flower Show Judges Presenting: “Exploring The North Coast,” an NGC Standard Flower Show. The show is open to the public after final judging is completed of 36 individual designs, along with many species of horticulture, 12 entries of botanical arts-artistic crafts and three educational exhibit entries. All entries are the work of members of the Garden Club of Ohio. This flower show is free and open to the public.  ∞
