Foundation grants $25,000 to local nonprofits

The Hudson Community Foundation has awarded $25,000 in grants to 11 Hudson area nonprofits, according to a press release. These funds are part of HCF’s first of two biannual grant cycles.

The grants reflect the foundation’s commitment to supporting the vibrant community of Hudson and its nonprofit organizations, “who play such a vital role in making our city the wonderful place it is,” said HCF President Amy Jordan. They were made possible by the generous contributions of donors who believe in the foundation’s mission to enhance the quality of life in Hudson, she continued.

The grant recipients are Destination Hudson, Greenleaf Family Center, Habitat for Humanity of Summit County, Hudson Bandstand, Hudson Community Choruses, Hudson Community Service Association Food Pantry, Hudson Farmers Market, Hudson Library and Historical Society, State of Mind: Hudson and The Salvation Army of Summit County.
