Hudson names assistant superintendent

Hudson City School District announced that Angela Terella has been named the new assistant superintendent/director of curriculum and instruction, beginning with the 2024-2025 school year. The board approved her hire on May 30.

Terella comes to Hudson from the Waterloo Local School District in Portage County, where she served as superintendent. Prior to Waterloo, she was the director of curriculum for the Summit County Educational Service Center. Her professional experience also includes serving as a high school principal and a middle school principal, after starting her educational career as a teacher.

Terella will have several transition days this summer prior to officially beginning the position on Aug. 1. She is replacing Doreen Osmun, who is retiring from the district on July 31 following 35 years in education. ∞
