Scout creates sign for Richfield Heritage Preserve

Patrick Kalal, a member of Richfield Scout Troop 387, designed and built a new entrance sign for Richfield Heritage Preserve as his Eagle Scout project. The sign’s beams were milled from trees sourced from the park’s property, adding a rustic touch to the project.

Kalal involved troop members, family and friends in the construction process as part of the management requirements for the Eagle Scout designation.

The entrance to the park has been difficult for drivers to see and the new sign makes it more visible. ∞
