The severe storm season is already here bringing with it occasional power outages. For that reason, Brecksville residents are reminded that when there is a power outage to contact the Illuminating Company directly at 1-888-544-4877 for information pertaining to getting homes and businesses back online.

Residents are asked not to contact the Brecksville Police Department or dial 9-1-1 during these events. An influx of power outage calls prevents the dispatcher from receiving and processing true emergency calls as rapidly as possible. ∞
