June 3—A male requested a property damage report at his Scenic Point Road residence after he claimed a vehicle damaged his yard.

June 3—A Fleetwood Drive resident complained of the trash company picking up the dumpsters in his development early, violating the county’s noise ordinance before 6 a.m. He also claimed the truck driver relieved himself on the fence in the garbage area. Police discussed the issue with the garbage company, and the driver was taken off that route.

June 5—Police responded to an Eaton Drive residence when a mother reported her daughter was being unruly. The mother stated her daughter was yelling and throwing things because she had limited her cell phone use.

June 6—Officers were dispatched to a healthcare center on W. Aurora Road after staff members said a male resident diagnosed with Alzheimer’s tried to inappropriately touch a female resident diagnosed with dementia.

June 6—Police were dispatched to a ski resort on W. Highland Road for report of a male standing in the middle of the roadway and lunging at cars. The man claimed he fell off his bike on the roadway crosswalk just west of Red Lock Trail and a passing car struck his bike. Macedonia Fire medics said the man had no injuries and agreed with police that the bike appeared unscathed. Police suspected the man was homeless due to his disheveled appearance and attempt to flag down a car to give him a ride because he was tired of biking.

June 8—A possible domestic dispute occurred at S. Boyden Road among three family members.

June 8—A Sagamore officer assisted the Macedonia Police Department when shots were fired at the Macedonia Fun Fest. Members of the crowd were fighting Macedonia officers ,and the Sagamore officer helped control the crowd.

June 10—Officers arrested a male driver for OVI on W. Aurora Road.

June 10—A Greenwood Parkway resident reported her neighbor sprayed her with a garden hose and walked close to her as she walked her dog.

June 11—A Kingsview Drive resident reported vandalism of a swastika next to the family vehicle parked in the street.

June 13—A couple at an Eaton Ridge Drive residence engaged in a domestic dispute. Officers advised both parties how to obtain a Civil Protection Order.

June 23—Officers dispatched an injured deer at McNeil Drive and South Boyden Road.

June 24—A resident came to the police department to report his Amazon package delivered was not what he ordered; it was full of bricks.

June 26—A Canyon View Road resident reported unauthorized use of her vehicle after family members borrowed her vehicle and did not return it when they said they would. Police ensured the car was returned.

June 27—Police were dispatched to a Chaffee Road residence for report of a woman’s son driving her car without permission. He returned the car while the police were speaking to the woman.

June 28—Officers were dispatched to a Valley View Road residence for property damage. The resident’s trashcan and mailbox were damaged and ran over, and there were scattered car parts in the front yard. After a thorough search, police were unable to locate the vehicle that caused the damage.

June 29—A resident reported that employees from a construction company were drinking alcohol on his roof while on the job, some he believed to be underage.

June 29—Officers went to a Willow Lake Drive residence to check on a psychiatric situation regarding a patient and home health care worker. ∞
