Bath-Richfield Kiwanis

Bath-Richfield Kiwanis received a $3,700 grant from the Ohio District Kiwanis Foundation to be used to help pay for materials to build a patio at Shelter Care’s Safe Landing youth Shelter in Akron. In the photo putting the finishing touches on the patio are (l-r) Terry Bennett, Mike Marks and Jeff Sprongl.

Thanks to all that attended Richfield Community Day. It was just a day of great fun and enjoyment and the weather was ideal. The park was full of happy people enjoying the day with their families and friends. The crowd of kids having fun with the rides and games was the most in years.

Bath-Richfield Kiwanis meets on Thursday evenings, 6-7:30 p.m. in Richfield at Fellowship Hall. Meetings include dinner and great speakers. Non-member guests are invited to attend.

Speakers for September include:

Sept. 12: Sarah Krieger from the Battered Women’s Shelter at 6 p.m. in Fellowship Hall.

Sept. 19: Summit County Master Gardeners’ presentation “Putting Your Garden To Bed For The Winter” at 6 p.m. in Fellowship Hall.
