Communications director earns Mark of Excellence

            Kelli Crawford-Smith, director of communications for the Highland Local School District, was recognized for outstanding work by the school board May 20.

            At the Ohio Public Relations Association’s conference this spring, Smith was awarded the Mark of Excellence award for a photo she took of one of the district’s international students. In addition, she was awarded the Mark of Excellence award for the district’s annual report and calendar.

            Smith is responsible for all public communications the district releases to the community and local media, including photos and news stories on happenings in the Highland Local Scool District. ∞
