Revere Superintendent’s Corner by Dan White

It has been very exciting to officially start serving in my new role on Aug. 1 as superintendent of Revere Local Schools! During my first few weeks, I spent time at our transportation office with our Transportation Supervisor A.J. Neitenbach, who took me on a tour of the bus garage. I met our Assistant Supervisor Alaynah Carney and our mechanics Randy Gross and Brian Luther. They are all busy getting ready for our students to begin school on Aug. 22.

Additionally, we finished the interview process for our teaching positions. Our administrative team attended our annual retreat, where we had the opportunity to work together discussing the coming year and building a collaborative team.

As we embark on a new school year, it’s a joy to welcome back our talented and dedicated employees. Equally exciting is the opportunity to greet our new hires and engage with them during interviews, onboarding and new-teacher orientation.

This year, we’re thrilled to introduce a highly skilled group of professionals who bring a wealth of experiences and talents to Revere. Notably, we have the pleasure of welcoming two Revere alumni (*) back “home” as Minutemen!
