DiGeronimo Companies, the development company behind the Valor Acres mixed-use development, said it signed an agreement with Marriott International to build an AC Marriott hotel as part of the project.
Construction of the six-floor, 136-guest room hotel is slated to begin in early 2025, with a tentative completion date set for late 2026.
Project partners include Crawford Hoying and Shaner Hotel Group, representatives for DiGeronimo Companies said.
“As we continue to elevate the experience at Valor Acres, we’re so appreciative of our partnership with both Crawford Hoying and Shaner Hotel Group,” said Kevin DiGeronimo, principal at DiGeronimo Companies. “Our goal is to create a destination where guests can enjoy world-class hospitality while being surrounded by the destination retail, fine dining and luxury residential offerings. This boutique hotel is a key addition that enhances the upscale living experience and strengthens the sense of community that Brecksville is known for.”
Designed by Meyers+Associates, the AC Hotel by Marriott will encompass more than 80,800 square feet and will feature a range of amenities, including versatile meeting spaces, a first-floor bar, a fitness center and a 6,030-square-foot rooftop bar.
The partnership for the hotel development began back in March 2022 with Shaner’s introduction of Crawford Hoying to DiGeronimo.
“We are excited to partner with DiGeronimo and Shaner on this new venture in the Brecksville community,” said Bob Hoying, principal at Crawford Hoying. “We look forward to the unique and exceptional experience that the AC Hotel by Marriott will bring to the Valor Acres neighborhood.”
The AC Hotel by Marriott will be developed by DiGeronimo and Crawford Hoying, and co-owned by all parties, with Shaner serving as the hotel operating partner. ∞
