Case-Barlow’s Winter Wonderland returns Dec. 6-15
Step into a world of holiday enchantment this December as Case-Barlow Farm transforms into a Winter Wonderland, from Dec. 6-15.
Winter Wonderland unfolds through five magical events:
Tour of Trees in the “Big Red” Barn – Dec. 6, 7, 13 and 14: Experience a forest of twinkling holiday trees for a magical evening in the historic barn. Every tree is decorated by a local nonprofit hoping to win $1,000 for their charity. Guests can vote for their favorite. Each night will feature different entertainment, from children’s ballet performers to fun singalongs and Frozen Night featuring Elsa, Anna and Olaf. Young adventurers can embark on a fun scavenger hunt to discover hidden farm-themed ornaments throughout the trees. Enjoy a free candy cane, shop the merry gift shop, or warm up with treats for purchase like popcorn, hot dogs, cookies, hot cocoa and seasonal adult beverages. Tickets are $5 per person and are available online or at the door.
Gingerbread Teas for Kids with Craft – Dec. 7 and 8: Join an enchanting children’s tea party, where little ones and their grown-ups will enjoy a delicious luncheon featuring tea sandwiches and seasonal treats. Children can create a charming holiday craft to take home and will enjoy a special visit by Frosty the Snowman! Reservations are required. Be sure to book early as this event sells out quickly.
Santa in the Barn – Dec. 7, 8, 14 and 15: Capture the magic of the season as children meet Santa himself, nestled in his bright red sleigh amidst the beauty of the barn. Each child receives a complimentary cookie and hot cocoa. Reservations are required to secure a family spot.
Holiday “Cheer” Wine Event – Dec. 12: Toast to the season and stroll through the sparkling wonderland, admiring the beautifully decorated trees and learning about the farm’s historic past. Guests will sample four hand-selected fine wines and enjoying delicious, chef-inspired appetizers. Tickets are $60 per person and must be purchased online.
Adult Holiday Tea – Dec. 6: Gather for a Victorian-themed Adult Tea served inside the cozy atmosphere of Case-Barlow’s Farmhouse decorated with lush holiday greens. Make a holiday craft while enjoying tea sandwiches and other delectable delights and learning about the farmhouse and it’s rich Hudson history. Tickets are $60 per person and must be purchased online. All proceeds from the event go toward the continued restoration and preservation of Case-Barlow Farm and it’s beloved “Big Red” barn.
