Celebrating Fall Traditions

While Revere is notably recognized for a tradition of excellence in academics, I’m excited to share some highlights and fall traditions that showcase our students’ talents, creativity, and school spirit. The season’s vibrant colors provide a perfect backdrop for the events that have become cherished traditions that bring our school community together.

Our marching band had a remarkable season, impressing audiences with their precision, musicality, and dedication. They recently received a superior rating at the OMEA state competition and performed at the Bands in the Round, an annual celebration where students in grades 5-12 join forces to showcase their hard work and passion for music.

Our Halloween parades at Richfield Elementary and Bath Elementary were a joyful success with the high school band playing while students paraded around the school for family and friends. “Boo at the School,” sponsored by the RHS student council, brought the community together in a family-friendly evening of games, treats, and safe trick-or-treating. Richfield Elementary also enjoyed Trunk or Treat, sponsored by the RES PTA and Revere Middle School enjoyed an after-school dance party sponsored by the RMS PTA and student council.

Revere High School hosted a heartfelt Veterans Day program, honoring the brave men and women from our community who have served our country. The event was made even more special with student artwork, performances, and guest speaker Col. James C. McClellan, United States Air Force.

The RHS PTA and Revere Players provided a breakfast and dress rehearsal performance of Treasure Island for local senior citizens, which was a delightful morning!

Our fall athletics season includes many opportunities to celebrate. Golfer Tommy Kinder participated in the OHSAA Division I State Golf Tournament, Will Wells competed in the OHSAA Division I State Cross Country Meet and our cheerleaders were crowned Suburban League champions!

Thank you to all the students, parents, staff and community members who make these events and traditions possible. Your involvement enriches our students’ lives and makes our district a vibrant, inclusive place to learn and grow. Don’t miss our December music programs:
