Nov. 2—Police responded to a Hawthorne Drive residence for an unresponsive female. The 95-year-old woman was pronounced dead by natural causes.

Nov. 2—Officers reported to a West Aurora Road home for report of criminal damage. A male caused significant damage to his girlfriend’s vehicle while under the influence of alcohol.

Nov. 3—During a traffic stop on N. Boyden Road, the driver was arrested for OVI.

Nov. 3—Police assisted the fire department with a brush fire on Ballantrae Drive. Firefighters were able to contain the flames and prevent further spread.

Nov. 3—Officers responded to a W. Aurora Road apartment complex for report of a neighbor dispute. Both females involved were advised on disorderly conduct.

Nov. 3—Police assisted Macedonia Fire with a brush fire at a Valleyview Road home. There were no reported injuries.

Nov. 4—A vehicle drove throughout the township with one headlight and sped before stopping on Crestwood Drive in Northfield Center. The driver had an active felony warrant with Summit County Sherriff’s Office and was issued several traffic citations including driving under suspension, operation in willful or wanton disregard of the safety of persons or property and a summons for obstruction.

Nov. 6—Officers responded to a West Aurora Road home to perform a welfare check on a female for a head injury and address a domestic dispute between the female and her partner.

Nov. 8—A female reported fraud when an unknown party made purchases on her debit card.

Nov. 11—Police responded to an Olde 8 Road gas station for report of a driver sleeping in a car. The drive admitted to drinking and had a history of medical issues. His license was suspended for one year due to refusal to take sobriety tests.

Nov. 11—A 15-year-old special needs female at a Carlin Drive residence was unresponsive and later pronounced deceased. She had a variety of medical issues.

Nov. 12—A female reported a fraudulent check was cashed without her permission.

Nov. 15—Officers responded to a Canyon View Road home for a welfare check on a female who threatened suicide. She was taken to the hospital.

Nov. 16—A female driver on Old North Road was charged with OVI and not having a valid driver’s license.

Nov. 16—Police reported to a Willow Lake Drive home to assist Macedonia Fire with an elderly female with dementia that was having an episode. 

Nov. 17—Officers dispatched an injured deer on Valley View Road.

Nov. 17—A male resident reported fraud when someone opened a credit card account in his name.

Nov. 17—A Canyon View Road resident reported theft of his camper mattress from the shared garage at his apartment complex.

Nov. 17—Police responded to a West Hill Drive home for report of a male causing a disturbance.

Nov. 17—A driver on state Route 82 was stopped for traffic violations and arrested for OVI.

Nov. 17—Police were dispatched to a Smithfield Drive apartment in reference to a psychiatric situation. The male in question has a history of mental health problems and drug abuse, according to his sister. While she attempted to drive her brother to a shelter for the night, he became violent and was transported to a hospital for evaluation.

Nov. 18—Units responded to a report of domestic dispute between a male and female.

Nov. 19—Two adult sisters were cited for disorderly conduct by physically fighting at a Greenwood Parkway home. 

Nov. 22—Police offered mutual aid to Northfield Village Police Department for a domestic dispute at a local casino. The male involved fled on foot but was found and issued a summons for disorderly conduct.

Nov. 24—A 90-year-old-man was found deceased in his Hemlock Lane home. The death was ruled to be from natural causes.

Nov. 24—Police responded to a Canyon View Road home for report of an 18-year-old female having a psychiatric incident. She was transported to the hospital for treatment.

Nov. 24—Officers responded to the intersection of Northfield and Sagamore roads to assist Northfield Village police in an OVI arrest. 

Nov. 27—Metro Swat along with Cleveland Police Narcotics served a warrant at an Eaton Ridge Drive home.Nov. 29—A female reported a theft when only one of her two delivered Amazon packages was at her house.
