Dec. 9 township trustees meeting

The township hall administrative and police offices are in the process of getting a fresh look. Sagamore Hills trustees approved local company M&M Painting and Remodeling to paint three administrative offices and three police offices in the township building for $5,200.

This comes after Carpet Country out of Twinsburg recently installed new carpet in the trustee meeting room and offices. This purchase was approved several months back, but the carpet was just delivered in December.

Trustee David DePasquale reported some of the township’s largest expenditures over the past month. This included an annual $7,500 fee for Flock safety cameras, security cameras in Sagamore Hills Park for $15,570 and $308,115 for the repaving of roads at Village Club Parkway in Greenwood Village. The township will also purchase a new police cruiser for $41,794 and be reimbursed for the cost by the Summit County Sheriff’s Office.Resident Mike Cunningham, external affairs person for Summit County for Enbridge Gas Ohio reminded the community that in the winter season, there are payment options for customers facing financial difficulties with their heating bills.
