Baldwin-Buss celebrated holiday season with classic makeover
Hudson’s historic Baldwin-Buss House, nestled beside Peg’s Foundation newly opened headquarters on First Street, offered a step back in time over the holiday season with Williamsburg-style Christmas décor. The Williamsburg style is characterized by the use of all natural elements such as fruits, berries and pine boughs that reflect an authentic colonial aesthetic. Local volunteers Connie Price and Barbara Earnhardt committed their time and talent to styling the 198-year home.
“Their dedication embodies the spirit of volunteerism, bringing timeless charm and a warm sense of community to this cherished piece of history,” said Kathy Russell, treasurer with the Baldwin-Buss House Foundation. The foundation is a nonprofit focused on the restoration, preservation and the ongoing conservation of the Baldwin-Buss House. For more information, visit pegsfoundation.org.
