Chippewa Garden Club

All members of the Chippewa Garden Club wish you a Happy and Healthy New Year. 

The club hosted its 75th Anniversary Celebration Dec. 5 at Creekside Restaurant, where members elected the board’s 2025 officers and celebrated the CGC’s 75th anniversary. There, the club received proclamations from the cities of Brecksville and Broadview Heights, honoring the club for its 75 years of community service. 

The club invites anyone interested in gardening and making new friends to try something new in 2025 and volunteer in a garden-related activity in the community. 

CGC’s next meeting will take place on Tuesday, Feb. 25, at 6:30 p.m., in the Brecksville Human Service Building, located at 2 Community Dr., in Brecksville. The guest speaker will be Jenny McClain, a naturalist from the Brecksville Nature Center. She will enlighten us of the many ways to create habitats for backyard birds.
