Independence High School senior Rocco Ressler was named to the First Team Offense in the 2024 Division VII All-Ohio Football Teams. He is a wide receiver/tight end for Independence.

On Dec. 21, Brian Hunter Vollman graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Journalism – Sports and Media degree from the Reed School of Media and Communications at West Virginia University. Vollman is a 2021 graduate of Independence High School and the son of Brian and Jessica Vollman.

The following John Carroll University students were named to the spring 2024 College of Arts and Sciences dean’s list: Anna Balicki and Anthony Rizzo.

Joseph Jana was named to Kettering University’s summer 2024 dean’s list. Jana is majoring in chemical engineering and is a member of the class of 2028.

Zachary Barther was named to the 2024 summer trimester dean’s list at Palmer College of Chiropractic’s Florida Campus in Port Orange, Florida.Capital University announced Emma Konopa was named to the Provost/s List for the fall 2024 semester.
