Kindergarten registration now open for 2025-2026 school year 

Members of the Highland Local School District who have children who will begin kindergarten in the 2025-26 school year are advised that registration through FinalForms is now open. 

Highland’s kindergarten program consists of an all-day, everyday model. In order to register, a child must be 5 years old by Sept. 30, 2025. 

The following items are needed and must be uploaded to FinalForms when registering: 

Parent identification with a picture I.D. 

Proof of residency 

Child’s original birth certificate or passport 

Child’s complete immunization records 

Certified custody papers (if applicable) 

Parents are instructed to register their children online through FinalForms at highlandschools.org. 

Also, if enrolling a child in kindergarten, parents are also asked to review the Welcome to Kindergarten packet, also available on the district’s website. 

Additionally, any new students who require school bus transportation are asked to email the Highland Transportation Department at transportation@ highlandschools.org. 

Parents are asked to provide the following information in their email: 

Parent’s name 

Child’s name 

School attending 

Child’s grade 

Home address 

Phone number 

Indicate if child needs morning, afternoon transportation or both. 

Little Hornets Preschool Program 

Highland Local Schools offers a pre-school program for typically developing three, four, and five-year-old children. 

The half-day pre-school program is located at Granger Elementary School and runs Monday through Thursday. The cost is $160 per month.
