Feb. 3—Police detained a man who had walked in the middle of the roadway on I-480 E and jumped in front of cars. He was cited for disorderly conduct and public intoxication.

Feb. 7—During a traffic stop on Rockside Woods Boulevard, the driver was cited for having drug paraphernalia.

Feb. 14—A male staying at a Quarry Lane hotel was cited for theft after staying for four nights but only paying for half his stay. He had been suffering from mental health issues and when police found him, he complained of chest pains prompting local EMS to transport him to a hospital.

Feb. 14—Police patrolled the parking lot of a Quarry Lane hotel and found a driver with a warrant out of Lakewood. He was issued a criminal summons for drug paraphernalia and additional drug paraphernalia was found in the police cruiser after the suspect had been in the backseat.

Feb. 15—A runaway juvenile was reported at a Quarry Lane hotel after having a fight with her mother and leaving the hotel room. The mother was charged with disorderly conduct after yelling and swearing in the lobby while publicly intoxicated.

Feb. 15—A man at a Rockside Woods Boulevard hotel was issued criminal summons for disorderly conduct after spitting on people’s cars and yelling coarse statements at hotel guests.

Feb. 16—Officers made a traffic stop on Rockside Road and found the driver to have a suspended license and be in possession of meth and cocaine.

Feb. 22—A couple was reportedly passed out in the drive-thru line of a Brecksville Road eatery. Police found drug paraphernalia in the vehicle. The female passenger was passed out from drug use and was administered Narcan by on-site paramedics. The male driver was charged with attempted drug abuse and drug paraphernalia.

Feb. 25—Police stopped a vehicle for speeding on I-77 N and cited the driver for reckless operation and having an open container of beer in the vehicle.
