Information provided by the Sagamore Hills Police Department 

Feb. 1—Police dispatched an injured deer on Valley View Road.

Feb. 1—A male reported his snowboard boots stolen from a ski resort on West Highland Road.

Feb. 3—Officers responded to a Valley View Road home for report of unresponsive male. He was found deceased due to age and health conditions.

Feb. 4—A female driver parked with her car running at a W. Aurora Road shopping plaza and threw up in the parking lot. She was found to be intoxicated and was cited for OVI.

Feb. 4—Police observed the North Boyden street sign missing. The metal pole was removed and lying on the ground. It was determined an individual removed the pole but no suspect was found.

Feb. 4—At Valley View and Sagamore roads, a vehicle was found to have one working headlight and no license plate. The driver’s license was suspended and she was issued a citation.

Feb. 6—A theft occurred at a West Aurora Road business. The suspect claimed she accidentally took a pair of shoes she hadn’t paid for, and police told her and the female with her not to return to the store.

Feb. 6—Officers responded to a domestic dispute at a Geddes Bluff residence. A female accused her boyfriend of throwing her into a wall and pushing her. Police determined he was the primary aggressor and arrested him when he refused to leave.

Feb. 7—A male and female on Trailside Drive reported mail missing from the mailbox. The male is the landlord of the home and has his mail delivered there. The female tenant leaves it in the box for him. Both were advised to call the United States Postal Inspections Service.

Feb. 9—An unresponsive male was found deceased at a Parkview Boulevard home. He had been a hospice patient and had a DNR on file.

Feb. 11—Police dispatched an injured deer on North Gannett Road.

Feb. 12—A resident reported a custody battle and both parties were advised it was a civil matter. The child in questions was determined to be safe with the mother.

Feb. 12—Officers responded to a domestic dispute between father and adult son at a North Gannett Road home.

Feb. 14—Police made an arrest for OVI at a car accident on Carlin Road.

Feb. 15—A mailman delivering mail on West Aurora Road reports he was threatened by a man delivering food through Door Dash.

Feb. 15—Officers responded to a W. Highland Road ski resort for report of a domestic dispute between ex-spouses about child arrangements.

Feb. 19—A resident reported fraud after multiple unauthorized transactions were made using her Key Bank account.

Feb. 22—Sagamore police assisted Northfield Village police to detain a male during a psychiatric situation. The male resisted officers but was handcuffed and taken to a medical center for evaluation.

Feb. 22—An elderly female at a North Boyden Road home died. She had been on hospice care and battled cancer.

Feb. 25—Officers checked on a resident on Greenwood Parkway who was part of the township’s senior citizen call program. The female was found deceased in her home with a DNR posted on the refrigerator.

Feb. 26—A Valley View Road resident called 911 when she fell out of bed and couldn’t get up. Based on her history of habitual alcohol abuse and intoxication, she was transported to a hospital to see a doctor.

Feb. 26—A Dunham Road resident reported property damage when a vehicle drove through his yard.
