A New Season for Legacy: Kevin Olecki Takes the Lead at Broadview Heating

As spring ushers in a season of renewal, Broadview Heating, Air Conditioning & Electrical is embracing a new chapter in its 65-year history of proudly serving the community. Tom Olecki, who led the company as its second-generation owner and president, is retiring after a long career at Broadview Heating. He is passing the torch to me, his son, Kevin Olecki, who will now serve as the company president. Broadview Heating will continue to be owned by the Olecki family. 

Founded in 1960 by my grandfather, Carl Olecki, Broadview Heating has been a cornerstone in the local community, providing reliable heating, cooling and electrical services to countless families in Northeastern Ohio. Under Tom’s leadership, the company grew into a trusted household name, synonymous with its commitment to quality service and customer care. Now I look forward to carrying on that legacy. 

After working alongside my father for over 20 years, I was fortunate to learn every aspect of the business. Throughout my time at Broadview Heating, I have worn many hats – from installation and service technician to sheet metal fabricator to sales and installation manager. In my new role as president, I am committed to upholding the values that made Broadview Heating your go-to company, while also looking ahead at opportunities for growth and innovation. The continued focus of Broadview Heating is to provide an exceptional customer experience, as we’ve done for the past 65 years. 

Over the past several years, our services were expanded, with the addition of an electrical division. This provided us with the opportunity to offer even more comprehensive solutions to our customers. The electrical division covers everything from light fixtures and outlets to main panels, whole house generators and outdoor lighting. Our electrical team consists of three full-time, state-licensed electricians. This division not only enhances our capabilities but also helps us meet the evolving needs of the families we serve. 

As the seasons change and warmer weather settles in, Broadview Heating is excited to embrace the future with the next generation at the helm. The dedication to service and community that has defined our family business for over six decades will remain our focus. Here’s to 65 years of tradition, and to a bright future ahead as we continue to grow and innovate, while staying true to the values that have made us who we are today.
