Luna Bakery is newest business to call Valor Acres home

DiGeronimo Companies announced May 15 that Luna Bakery & Café, which currently operates locations in downtown Cleveland, Cleveland Heights and Moreland Hills, plans to open a fourth location in Valor Acres this fall.

The made-from-scratch bakery is known throughout Northeast Ohio for its handcrafted pastries, desserts and café fare made daily. The new location will feature a menu of pastries alongside breakfast and lunch favorites, including crepes, paninis, salads and soups, complemented by coffee and espresso.

Beyond the café, Luna plans to offer breakfast and lunch catering for offices and events, as well as custom cakes, wedding cakes and pastry assortments.

“We’re excited to bring Luna to Valor Acres and be part of a community that values connection and experience,” said owner Bridget Thibeault, who opened the Cleveland Heights location in 2011. “ Our goal is to create a space that feels warm, welcoming and genuinely thoughtful — where small details and great hospitality make a difference, whether you’re grabbing a quick coffee, catering a meeting or celebrating something special. Valor Acres is a natural fit for how we think about the guest experience.“

Kevin DiGeronimo, principal of DiGeronimo Companies, said Luna is high-quality, approachable and community driven, which is exactly the kind of concept the developer envisioned for Valor Acres.

“It’s another great addition that helps activate the campus throughout the day and enhances the overall mix of amenities we’re building here,“ he said.

Luna joins a growing collection of curated destinations at Valor Acres, including The Post, , and . The development is also home to the campus, along with recently opened culinary destinations by Dante Boccuzzi and Jake McDaniel and by Chef Matt Mytro. The multifamily offering, , is set to open this summer, and the boutique hotel is expected to follow in Spring 2027.

Luna joins a growing collection of curated destinations at Valor Acres, including The Post, Canvas at Valor Acres, and Primer Coffee & Cocktails. The development is also home to the Sherwin-Williams Research & Development campus, along with recently opened culinary destinations Masu by Dante Boccuzzi and Jake McDaniel and Flour by Chef Matt Mytro. The multifamily offering, Downtown at Valor Acres, is set to open this summer, and the AC Marriott boutique hotel is expected to follow in Spring 2027.
