The board of directors of the Great Day! Tours & Charter Bus Service announced that A. J. Kinney has been promoted to company president and Paul Travaglianti has been promoted to executive vice president. Both individuals have approximately four decades of service in the bus and tour industry, all with Great Day! Tours.  

Brecksville-Broadview Heights High School graduate Bryn Watkins was part of the Ohio State Men’s Rugby team that defeated Indiana University 33-29 on Nov. 13 to win the Big 10 Championship for the first time in a decade. The championship was played at the Chicago Lions Rugby Ground in Chicago, IL. He was a former boys’ team captain for the Brecksville Dragons.

The Brecksville Dragons Girls’ Rugby team finished its most successful season to date in Dublin on Nov. 7. Over the course of the season, they won 14 games and lost 4. Captained by senior Ella Nelson, the community-based team, founded in 2017, consisted of six players from BBHHS, two players from Normandy High School and a Magnificat student who also lives in Brecksville. The team competed against teams from Toledo to Mentor, Cleveland to Cincinnati and finished the season with three wins.

Brecksville/Brecksville-Broadview Heights High School graduate Carter Lloyd is one of 21 first-year or transfer student-athletes to continue their wrestling careers at Baldwin Wallace University.
