Tree Lighting is set for Friday, Nov. 25
Come “Home for the Holidays” and participate in Richfield’s Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony on Friday, Nov. 25. The festivities will begin on the southeast corner of Broadview and W. Streetsboro roads at 6 p.m., where attendees will receive a miniature lantern to help illuminate the night for the singing of carols and the traditional tree lighting.
Following the arrival of Santa, the revelers will walk to the festively decorated Masonic Hall where they will receive this year’s commemorative holiday pin and enjoy cookies, hot chocolate and punch with friends and neighbors. Younger participants will have the opportunity to visit with Santa and Mrs. Claus.
On the same evening Meridian Sun Lodge #69 will hold an open house on the second floor of Masonic Lodge. Learn about the Masonic history of Meridian Sun and its ties to the community.
Richfield Civic Organization sponsors the evening. ∞
