Parma Symphony Orchestra presents ‘Amahl and the Night Visitor’

The Parma Symphony Orchestra will present the Gian Carlo Menotti opera, “Amahl and the Night Visitors”, at Valley Forge High School on Dec. 11, at 3 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. The opera is a retelling of the Nativity story and the journey of the Magi from the point of view of Amahl, a crippled boy, and his mother, who are on the brink of poverty. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for students and senior citizens. Family passes are $20 and cover two adults and their children. Tickets may be purchased in advance at parmasymphony.org. The box office will be open one hour before curtain for both performances. ∞
