Richfield Business update

Richfield Brewery is still “on tap” to open next winter. According to CEO Mike Lyzt, the construction of the restaurant has been delayed because of electrical supply issues.

The construction of a research facility for the fruit processing company, Agrana, has been put on hold. In April 2022, the company was offered tax increment financing to build on the triangular plot of land at the intersection of Broadview and Brecksville roads.

Baypointe Technology moved their operation to Medina and Highland Construction purchased their building at 2662 Brecksville Rd. That company specializes in pool construction and plans to use the building as a warehouse and office.

Studio XEL beauty salon has moved out. Some of the stylists from there are now working at Lee Marie Salon.

Stitches and Stowaways has moved to a new location at 3941 Brecksville Road.

The Hampton Inn on Brecksville Road, with principal owner Minesh Shah, was closed for a short period and has re-opened under the Comfort Inn franchise name.
