Chippewa Garden Club

Autumn is the season of harvest, color and scenic changes. To add to the beauty of the season, Chippewa Garden Club, in its Senior Enrichment through Nature program,  played host to the seniors of Broadview Heights Oct. 8.

The goal was to assist seniors in making a fall wreath.

Materials to make the wreate were supplied by CGC and each kit included a trendy wood beaded wreath frame, a choice of an ornamental pumpkin or acorn wooden plaques, ribbons, artificial fall florals and accents.

With the assistance, design-style guidance, and hot glue guns, the seniors completed their individually styled final product.

The fun continues on Dec. 8 when seniors will be making their own twig-styled Christmas trees to celebrate the holiday season. Those interested in participating are asked to RSVP with the Broadview Heights Human Services Department at 440-526-4685. ∞
