Memorial Day parade, ceremony set for May 27

The city of Broadview Heights is holding its Memorial Day Parade and Ceremony, a community event that honors the men and women who died while serving in the U.S. military, on Monday, May 27.

The parade, a symbol of the community’s unity and respect, departs from The Crossings Shopping Center at 11 a.m., on Broadview Road, just north of state Route 82. The city extends a warm invitation to all spectators to join the parade’s end and follow it to the community amphitheater, where there will be a memorial ceremony, veteran tribute and complimentary refreshments, fostering a sense of community and togetherness.

Please be aware that Broadview Road, from state Route 82 to Valley Parkway, will temporarily close on Memorial Day. The closure will be in effect from 10:45 a.m. to 11:45 p.m., so we kindly ask you to plan your travel accordingly and choose an alternate route. ∞
