Congratulations to the following residents who were awarded degrees from Miami University of Ohio: Aidan Blakely, Joey Cifani, Roman Jakubowycz, Jackson Mabee and Nikki Yadavalli.

Also congratulations to Maggie Gerber who graduated magna cum laude from Baldwin Wallace University. Earning the Dean’s List from BW were Ava Kusek and Kaley Lanza.

When Sophie Vasilopoulos turned 105 years old in April, Mayor Wheeler promised to take her for a ride in his 1924 Dodge Brothers automobile. He delivered on that promise and picked her at the Inn at Apple Ridge assisted living facility and took her for a cruise. Her sister, Pauline, who is 100, was watching from the porch. Photo submitted.
