Advertiser offers residents a chance to refute his claims

To the Editor:

It’s come to my attention that my advertisement in the September Independence Today upset a few of our fellow citizens, some of whom suggested that my ad be censored.

I take seriously the responsibility of publishing information about elections; I research carefully and eliminate unsubstantiated rumors or salacious material. I know many Democrats, and most are fine people. I also know many Democrats are poorly informed of opposing viewpoints because their source of information is limited to media that advocate for Democrats.

The Media Research Council found that the coverage of Conservatives is 92% negative. During Robert Kennedy Jr.’s recent endorsement of Trump, he stated that the Democrat party had left him because “it had become the party of censorship, big pharma, big tech, big AG, big money” … and I would add, dishonesty.

I also know that some people would like to respond to my ads and won’t because of the cost. In order to promote fair play and anti-censorship, I will pay for a single half page advertisement in the Brecksville Magazine, Broadview Journal or Independence Today to the first person who is able to refute (with documented facts) any claims in my September ad. I ask that your ad be only about these claims and emailed to YouCanMAGA@gmail.com.

In this spirit, I trust citizens can have a fair debate in an effort to arrive at common agreement of the people best suited to be leaders at this critical time for our country. ∞
