The Hudson Players shine at Ohio Community Theater Association Conference

The Hudson Players announced recent success at the Ohio Community Theater Association Conference at the Midland Theater in Newark, Ohio, Aug. 30-Sept. 2. The Players performed an excerpt of its sell-out run of “Curtains,” from the 79th season. The production is led by Claudia Lillibridge, director; Conni Fleming, choreographer and Bridget Jankowski, music director. 

Bringing home awards are Bridget Jankowski, Excellence in Music Direction; Brad Kisner as Lt. Frank Cioffi, Excellence in Musical Theater Performance; Tina Davis as Carmen Bernstein, Outstanding in Musical Theater Performance; and Theresa Benyo-Mazullo and Sue Cohen, Dick Beal Award for Outstanding Regional Reps.

The Hudson Players are gearing up for its 80th anniversary season, which will open with “The Music Man” from Nov. 1- 23, at the Barlow Community Theater.
