Wealth management executives open doors to neighbors

Hudson Wealth Management, a new financial planning firm, offers a complete slate of financial planning services for all aspects of their customers’ financial needs, including services such as estate planning, investing and planning for their children’s futures.

But the two business partners, Mark Wilcox, CEO, and Andy Maimona, senior partner, don’t have to travel too far to find a friend or neighbor to work with.

“We love Hudson, and it is our home, so we are just thrilled to open our independent financial planning firm in our town,” said Wilcox.

Hudson Wealth Management is located at 10 Streetsboro St., and the company held a grand opening for their friends and clients in early November.

Wilcox said that he has been in the financial planning business since 2004, but his new venture, Hudson Wealth Management, allows him and his staff to “always do what is in the best interest of our clients.”

“At Hudson Wealth Management, our mission is to help our clients be good stewards of their resources and maximize the impact they can have to their families, communities and charities they support,” he said.

As a fiduciary with a certified financial planner designation, Wilcox prides himself on becoming a trusted partner in his customers’ financial plans. And as an independent – rather than corporate – firm, he said he and his staff can choose from a large variety of financial tools to meet their customers’ needs, whether those customers are just starting out or are at the later stages of their lives.

“One of the things I feel is most rewarding is when I have worked with clients or families for a long time. And then one spouse might pass away, but since the clients have become our partners, the surviving spouse has trust in me and knows I am dedicated to helping them with all the changes in their life,” Wilcox explained.

He said his firm is based on the core values of teamwork, trust and transparency.

“We will earn the right to become your trusted and knowledgeable investment advisors,” according to Wilcox. “We spend time with clients to determine their goals and objectives, time horizon and risk tolerance, helping them to make important financial decisions for their future.”

He also highlighted the firms creative solutions for clients who want to utilize their financial resources to help their most important causes or beloved charities and said he is always available to talk with new clients and help them decide if hiring a financial planning firm is right for them. “I will tell people to take some time before coming to talk to us, to think about what is really important to them in their lives and for their future,” Wilcox said. “It may be a place they want to retire to or a way to allow them to pursue their passions, but whatever those important things are, we are here to help them get there.”
