Ohio CAT continues tradition of company-themed Christmas display

Ohio CAT Corporate Headquarters, located at 3993 E. Royalton Rd., continues a tradition this year with a unique construction equipment holiday display set out front for passersby to enjoy.

According to a company press release, each piece of equipment is decked out as a reindeer, complete with a reindeer name and glowing red and green lights. “Rudolph” is portrayed by a JLG boom lift, sporting a red nose, to guide Santa’s convoy.

The idea for a Christmas display began in 2003 as a joint effort between former Ohio CAT credit manager Curt Keal and current Ohio CAT owner and president Ken Taylor. The display is intended to tie in with the company’s philosophy of charitable giving, sponsorships, equipment rental donations and scholarships, according to the release.“The spirit of kindness and generosity is an example I want to set for my family and my employees, now and all year long,” said Taylor. “Giving truly helps transform communities and it positively impacts people and their futures in the communities where we live and work.”
