Jan. 1—On Chestnut Road, officers issued a summons to a driver for open container along with traffic citations for no operator’s license and operation without reasonable control. The three passengers in the vehicle were underage.

Jan. 4—A female was arrested for prostitution and possession of criminal tools at a W. Creek Road hotel.

Jan. 4— A female was arrested for prostitution and possession of criminal tools at a Rockside Road hotel.

Jan. 5—During a traffic stop for tinted windows on Rockside Road, a male driver attempted to flee but was later arrested in a Jefferson Drive hotel parking lot. He had an active felony warrant out of Cuyahoga County.

Jan. 12—A car was stopped for tinted windows on Quarry Lane. The driver had a suspended license and the passenger had an active warrant and suspended license. The female passenger was cited for attempted drug abuse after oxycodone and a cocaine powder were found in her purse.

Jan. 16—Police stopped a car on Quarry Lane and cited the driver for attempted drug abuse, possessing drug abuse instruments and drug paraphernalia. Cocaine and hypodermic needles were found in the car.

Jan. 17—A male was arrested at a Quarry Lane hotel for engaging in prostitution and possessing criminal tools.

Jan. 17—At a Quarry Lane hotel, a female was arrested for engaging in prostitution and possession of criminal tools.

Jan. 18—A female was arrested at a Quarry Lane hotel for engaging in prostitution and possession of criminal tools. The arrest was predicated on an operation to target sex buyers and sellers in and around the city.

Jan. 18—A male was issued a criminal citation for disorderly conduct after he was found urinating next to a vehicle in a W. Creek Road hotel parking lot. He was turned over to North Ridgeville police for an active warrant.

Jan. 24—A female was arrested for engaging in prostitution at a Quarry Lane hotel.

Jan. 28—At a West Creek Road hotel, a female was being evicted from her room for having multiple active warrants for OVI and falsification. After searching her hotel room, police found suspected controlled substances. The female was issued a misdemeanor summons for attempted drug possession and was turned over to Shaker Heights police for her warrant.
