Apple Butter Festival

The Brecksville Historical Association’s annual Apple Butter Festival will take place on Sunday, Oct. 13, from 1-5 p.m., on the grounds of the Squire Rich Museum. The museum is located within the Brecksville Reservation of the Cleveland Metroparks, at 9367 Brecksville Rd.

The main feature of the event will be thre stirring of the apple butter. The menu will include apple fritters, hotdogs and beverages. Pints of apple butter will be available to purchase. Andy and Dylan Trautman also will return to provide their string music.

The Brecksville Historical Association’s Museum will be open for tours throughout the event. In addition, members of the Chippewa Garden Club will be on hand to answer questions about herbs and their uses.

BHA is hopeful for a good turnout to support operating expenses required under the lease agreement with Cleveland Metroparks, the archives and the Squire Rich Scholarship Award. For more information, contact BHA at 440-526-7165, or bassociation@att.net. ∞
