Cabin Fever Tour
Richfield Historical Society is holding its annual Cabin Fever Tour on Saturday, March 15.
As a way of supporting local businesses and institutions, the Richfield Historical Society is holding its annual Cabin Fever Tour on Saturday, March 15. Created in 2009, it continues to be a popular event which offers the opportunity to escape winter doldrums and visit treasure houses of local history, art, antiques, cuisine, gardening, gift items, home furnishings and more in the communities of Broadview Heights, Richfield, Hinckley, and Peninsula. More detailed information about tour participants, prizes offered, and their location and hours can be found online at richfieldohiohistoricalsociety.org.
Participants include: in Broadview Heights – Traditional Design; in Hinckley – Greensmith Garden & Gift Shop, Hinckley Donut Shop, Minnehaha Water; in Peninsula – Cuyahoga Valley Historical Museum, Peninsula Library, Peninsula Art Academy, Peninsula Village Antiques, Purplebrown Farm Store, River Light Gallery, and Trail Mix Peninsula; and in Richfield – Carter Manor, Country Maid Ice Cream, Countryside Florist, Different Branches Same Roots, Ohio Hardwood Furniture, Olesia’s Taverne of Richfield, POC’s Pierogi Market, Polka Dot Pincushion, Richfield Branch Library, Richfield Heritage Preserve, Richfield Historical Society, Somerville Antiques, Stitches & Stowaways, and Stone & Sage.
Get a relief from the big-box shopping experience and patronize independent shops. Dollars spent locally are more likely to stay in the community. For additional information, call the Richfield Historical Society at 330-659-0336.
