Empty Bowl Project

The Cuyahoga Valley Career Center, locate at 8001 Brecksville Rd., will host the annual Empty Bowls fundraiser on Tuesday, March 4, from 5-7:30 p.m.

Tickets are $15 and include soup, salad, bread, beverages and a keepsake bowl.

“Empty Bowls” is an international project to fight hunger, personalized by artists and art organizations on a community level. Empty Bowls allows local artists, art groups and craftsmen to create and donate bowls which are kept by guests as a reminder of all the empty bowls in the world.

All proceeds from this event will be donated to the Brecksville Food Pantry and

South Hills Lend-A-Hand Food Bank in Broadview Heights.

Tickets can be purchased at Star Sports, 7033 Mill Rd., in Brecksville, and at Broadview Chiropractic and Health, 1100 W. Royalton Rd., in Broadview Heights.
