First Congregational offers 7 p.m. outdoor Christmas Eve service
Experience the joy of Christmas Eve with friends and neighbors in an outdoor worship service offered by First Congregational Church of Hudson at 7 p.m. on Christmas Eve, Dec. 24, at the gazebo on the Hudson Green.
Dress for the weather and bring a chair to “Carols, Candlelight & Community,” a service of hearing the Christmas story and singing carols, including Silent Night by candlelight. Candles will be provided. In case of heavy rain or extreme cold, the service will be moved indoors to the church sanctuary at 47 Aurora St.
Last year, over 400 people attended this community service. For those seeking indoor worship, the church offers a children’s pageant at 3 p.m., Chancel Choir and strings at 5 p.m. and Candlelight Choir, Holy Communion and strings at 11 p.m. All services include the singing of Silent Night by candlelight.
Infant and toddler care available at 3 and 5 p.m. All indoor services will be livestreamed on hudsonucc.org. For more information, visit hudsonucc.org.
