Free Jazz and Coffee Evening
First Congregational Church of Hudson invites the community to enjoy an evening of inspiring jazz, plus coffee, tea, snacks and desserts at a Jazz and Coffee Evening on Friday, Nov. 15, at 7 p.m., in the church’s Fellowship Hall, 47 Aurora St. This free concert welcomes musicians featured in the church’s 11:25 band, including Chelsea Selvaggio, vocals; Aidan Plank, bass; Holbrook Riles, III, drums; and special guests Bobby Selvaggio, sax; and Paul Tynan, trumpet.
The 11:25 band leads the church’s weekly 11:25 a.m. worship service, which is a more casual, 40-minute sanctuary service with eclectic music. Formed in 2021, the band includes members of the church’s Music Ministries staff plus local professional jazz musicians.
This event is part of the church’s firstArts music series, which presents free musical events to the community throughout the year. No tickets are required; however, advance registration is appreciated at hudsonucc.org/events.
