International Women’s Air & Space Museum Rocket Day (June 13)

The International Women’s Air & Space Museum will host Rocket Day on June 13. This event, filled with hands-on learning opportunities, is geared toward children ages 5-12. Learn about the history of rocketry, types of rockets and build a variety of rockets. Participants can register for one of two sessions. Session one is from 10:30 a.m. to noon. Session two is from 1-2:30 p.m. Registration is required at iwasm.org. Early bird registration, open until June 6, is $3 per person and $4 per person from June 7 to 13.
